Eskimo
The great migration brought with it much hope, for
some, for those who were watered with that blessed water of fate. Lucky or not,
they all walked toward a new destiny, not to live in something better, but to
not die where they were. The ice age was approaching, so they changed their
fresh clothes for superb skins against the cold. The Eskimo was found trapped
in the ice, many, many years later, with all the cold petrified in his lungs,
stopping time in the sensation of infinity.
His gaze was lost. Scientists were analyzing data to determine how it
ended up on that ice bar. I was looking at them, I wanted to tell them the
truth, tell them how it all happened, but I couldn't. They were in front of me.
They were in front of me and they didn't see me, I was there too, stuck in the
ice wall, if they don't discover me they'll never know what a bad day we had.
